New Program What’s On?
Key Facts
Date: 18.03.2027
Time: 19:00
Location: Copenhagen
WHAT The closing concert of the OperaHole anti-koncert series is a presentation of Imaginary Landscape No. 4 for 12 radios and Europera 5 - each piece centers the radio as an instrument - inviting the strange indeterminacy of … whatever’s on!
WHY Contemporary opera struggles with narrative - is narrative essential to opera? When narrative is rejected, accidental narratives arise, in much the same way the eye sees a shape in the clouds. We return to rejection of narrative to see in future works how we can continue to interact with it as a useful element in the Operatic form.
CASTDaniel Rosenberg, Vocalist
Litha Ashforth, Vocalist
Njord Fossnes, Viola/Violin
Hedda Aadland, Cello
Kristopher Nash, Clarinet
Otilia Zielke Johannsen, Flute
Louise Schrøder, Piano
Tomáš Bazo, Percussion
Jens Rønscholdt, Meme-Maker
