what
In 1968, John Cage sat down to play chess against Marcel Duchamp on a board wired for sound. Every move opened or closed a channel of live electronics, and the game itself composed the concert.
OperaHole has rebuilt the board, and now it's your move. Sit down and play, or stand around the board, boogie, and listen. Sound artists feed live electronics into the chessboard, and the position of the pieces decides what everyone hears as the sound moves through the space.

Why
hop like a knight, skip like a bishop, and get problematically lazy like a king, on a dance floor mixed by your bro’s beer induced blunders (kween!) luhl.
