OperaHole is a Copenhagen-based experimental music cooperative formed in 2025 by Daniel Rosenberg and Litha Ashforth. The collective brings together performers across disciplines to realize blue sky concert ideas that sound like mad libs amongst conservatory friends, and look like groundbreaking performances.
Daniel Rosenberg is a versatile character tenor, composer, and producer known for his dynamic work in opera, musical theatre, and composition. His operatic roles include Monostatos (Die Zauberflöte), George III (8 Songs for a Mad King), Peter Quint (The Turn of the Screw), Peter Ginz (Echoes in the Darkness) and more. Rosenberg made his professional debut in 2023 with Onsite Opera, performing aboard the historic 1908 lightship Ambrose in Il Tabarro. He is frequent performer at The Gaslight Theatre in Tucson, Arizona, and joins the Malmö Opera in the 2025 production of Lohengrin.
Rosenberg’s musical theatre credits include Chairman (The Mystery of Edwin Drood), Jesus (Jesus Christ Superstar), and Leaf (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), alongside his original works such as Richard! a new musical. He is a 2016 Jimmy Awards alumnus (Broadway debut), a Monte Awards winner, and the recipient of the NEC Entrepreneurial Musicianship Grant for his musical Ghost Riders in the Sky. Rosenberg holds a BM from New England Conservatory, an MM from Mannes School of Music.
As a producer and artistic administrator Rosenberg has presented concerts for and in collaboration with Death of Classical, The Onassis Foundation, National Sawdust, Vision Into Art, UN Women, Green-Wood Cemetery and more.
